Original views in oils inspired by what I see around me on Fidalgo Island, I now do mostly commissioned animal portraits focusing on those beautiful patterns in fur and feathers, small landscapes in themselves. Reproductions of my art are available as quality prints.and notecards.

PGP - Psalm 23, Green Pastures

Overlooking a peaceful valley, with sheep grazing in green pastures by quiet waters. (16x20 oil)

"The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, He leads me beside quiet waters, He restores my soul.  He guides me in paths of righteousness for His name's sake"  Psalm 23:1-3

MBF - Moonlight Beach Fire

Squirrel strums a guitar while three furry friends enjoy an evening around a beachfire on a pebbly beach in the San Juan Islands. (16x24 oil)

LCS - Lake Campbell Sheep

Lake Campbell on Fidalgo Island (just below my home studio) is a rare place, with an island on an island.  Just south of Anacortes, Gateway to the San Juan Islands. (24x30 oil)
"My sheep hear My voice and I know them"  John 10:27

WSF - Washington State Ferry

Washington State ferry "Kaleetan" coming home to Anacortes after a long day out on Puget Sound among the San Juan Islands. (24x30 oil)

"From the rising of the sun to its setting, the name of the Lord is to be praised"  Psalm 113:3

GPW - Grandpa's Willows

These willow trees were planted from branches taken from my grandfather’s tree in Arlington, Washington. Now they are on Fidalgo Island and that’s my horse Harley, enjoying the September sun. (18x24 oil)

TPB - Tea Party Bunnies

I loved this oversized strawberry wallpaper in my Aunt's home, and my Mom, a potter, made the tea set.  That's Mount Baker out the window. (11x14 oil)

LES - Lake Erie Store

Two Fidalgo Island landmarks: Lake Erie Grocery overshadowed by Mount Erie. This place feels like a little piece of childhood, where kids ride bikes or horses down to the store or a carload will stop for snacks on their way to the lake. (22x28 oil)

"Abiding in the shadow"  Psalm 91
